Diamond Warranty: What does our Warranty Cover? 

Ray-Ward Fine Jewelers also offers a FREE Lifetime Diamond Warranty with a $350 value! This includes:

  • Re-sizing (Excluding Eternity Bands, Invisible Settings & Micro Pavé): Complimentary resizing for most rings. If resizing exceeds two sizes up or down from the original size additional charges may apply. Some rings cannot be resized due to significant size differences, as excessive adjustments can compromise their structural integrity and lead to future issues.
  • Inspecting & Tightening Stones: We recommend bringing in your jewelry for inspections every six months to ensure that all stones remain secure. If any stones are found to be loose, we will tighten them the same day. 
  • Refinishing, Polishing & Rhodium Plating: Regular cleaning, refinishing, and polishing help maintain the beauty of your jewelry. Any scratches or scuffs will be polished using a professional polishing machine. For white gold pieces, rhodium plating is recommended to restore their bright white finish. Please note that some finishes, especially specialty designer finishes, cannot be fully restored. 
  • Missing Stones: We will replace a lab-grown or natural diamond up to 0.20 carats at no additional charge to the customer. Excludes fancy cut and colored diamonds.
  • Trade-ups: Applies to loose diamonds, diamond stud earrings, and solitaire pendants purchased from Ray-Ward Fine Jewelers. 
  • Appraisal: We offer complimentary appraisal updates for jewelry purchased from Ray-Ward Fine Jewelers, provided it remains under warranty. The timing of these updates will be determined at Ray-Ward’s discretion base on availability.

Items covered under our warranty are only available for pieces that remain in active warranty stats. If a piece has not been inspected at the required intervals or falls outside the warranty terms, additional charges will apply if customers want to remain under warranty. 

What is NOT Covered Under Warranty: Retipping of prongs is not covered, as it is considered normal wear and tear. Soldering chains and replacing clasps are also not covered. Additionally, loss or damage resulting from neglect, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear is not included. 

What if you move?

No worries. Just may mail your item to Ray-Ward Fine Jewelers and we will return your item to you at no charge for mailing.

Terms & Conditions of Sale

Exchanges & Store Credit: Merchandise in its original, unworn condition may be exchanged for store credit within 30 days. Special Orders, customized items, and engraved pieces are non-refundable. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged. 

Special Orders: Special orders are final sale and require a 50% non-refundable deposit. A special order consists of any jewelry, gemstone, watch, or gift item that is ordered or altered at the customer’s request. 

Layaways: Layaway plans are available for up to five months with a 20% deposit, and monthly payments are required. If canceled, all payments will be converted into store credit. Layaway purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, and terms are subject to Ray-Ward Fine Jewelers’ discretion. 

Returned Checks: A $45 fee will be charged for any returned checks due to insufficient funds or other banking issues. 

Gemstone Enhancement Notice: Some gemstones may undergo treatments to enhance color, clarity, and stability. Unless otherwise noted, it should be assumed that industry-standard treatments have been applied. Customers are responsible for informing us of any specific treatment preferences or concerns. 

Repair Take-In Policy: By leaving an item for repair, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Any descriptions provided for your item are approximate and for reference only.
  • Ray-Ward Fine Jewelers and its employees are not responsible for assessing the condition or identification of any jewelry or stones upon receipt.
  • Items are accepted for service at the customer’s own risk, and the store is not liable for loss, theft, or damage unless caused by negligence on our part.
  • If loss or damage occurs due to our negligence, our liability is limited to the declared value of the item (if provided) and will not exceed $100.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, loose stones, or any damage that may occur during routine repairs, cleaning, or adjustments.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their items.
  • Jewelry or loose stones not purchased from Ray-Ward Fine Jewelers are set at the customer’s risk.
  • Items left unclaimed for more than 90 days will be considered abandoned
